I’m Amanda Pogue, a graduate student at the University of Rochester working with Chigusa Kurumada, Mike Tanenhaus, and Florian Jaeger. I study pragmatics, specifically lately, (developmental) understandings of context and reference.
Anyways, you’ve found my (super embarrassing) blog about grad life (and other such things). Congrats. My advisor Chigusa encouraged me to start this blog to talk about some of the experiences that I’ve had while in grad school, that could potentially be helpful for others going through the same things.
I also regularly post job postings and summer internship opportunities as a resource for young researchers looking to get involved in the field.
